About X402 Protocol

X402 is an open payment protocol that uses the HTTP 402 "Payment Required" status code to enable automatic, instant, on-chain micropayments for web resources. It allows for programmatic payments directly over the web, without intermediaries, making it ideal for AI agents and other automated systems to pay for things like API access or cloud storage.
